Get a Cloud Cult PaintingCloud Cult has two professional painters on stage for the band's live shows. The paintings are created live during the set and auctioned off at the end of the show. Now's your chance to get your own painting from one of these talented painters. For a modest amount, you can commission the painters to create a painting with your chosen theme. Cloud Cult Scores Music for National Geographic- Watch this Week!
Since Cloud Cult's last live performance in the Fall of 2011, Singer/songwriter, Craig Minowa, has been working in the studio on writing the new album. In addition, Minowa was hired to score music in the Cloud Cult vein for a National Geographic documentary series entitled "America the Wild". Almost Spring!
Sorry it's been so long since we have posted any news. It has been a busy winter in the underground. The new Cloud Cult album is in the process of being created. There's no set release date, as of yet, but the new songs have us really excited. We've also got some new shows in the process of being secured. We'll post them as they are confirmed, but for the moment, you can definitely plan to see us at Sasquatch in May. We hope your winter has been introspectively rejuvinating, and we look forward to seeing you!
Love You AllMerry Christmas from Cloud Cult! Craig and Connie are also proud to announce the birth of their new little girl, Iris Aurora! She's the best present we could imagine having. To celebrate a season of focusing on the love family and friends, here's a new music video that was put together by a Cloud Cult fan who is doing some great work helping parents be the best they can be. A new compilation CD of Beatles cover songs hit the North American CMJ radio charts this week at #6 (Most Adds). The album is a charity project organized by Vega Productions . All proceeds go to supporting music and art education in Minnesota. Cloud Cult kicks off the album with the first track, doing a cover of "Help".
